When we mention the Web Accessibility are talking about universal access to the Web and its contents for all people, regardless of the limitations of the individual (disability) or derived from the context of use (environmental or technologies).

This website has been created based on accessibility guidelines to content provided by the WAI (Web Accessibility Initiative) organization created by the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium), to inform, investigate and stimulate work in Web accessibility.

The WAI has established three levels of accessibility "A", double "A" and triple "A" to reach each level to the implementation of a particular pattern or principles.

To do this:

• All pages on this website have been created according to W3C XHTML 1.0 recommendation for web development with semantic markup and structured. The presentation layer has been developed under the W3C recommendation on Cascading Style Sheets, Level 3 (CSS3).
• Textual contents Accessibility: All patterns designed to show the contents of the Web accessible have been created under the criteria of the WAI accessibility.
• Images: alternative texts have been added to images to allow screen readers to interpret those who use such images. This functionality is also useful for those who have disabled in your browser the function to display images
• Identification of language: We have been incorporated into all pages, applications and embedded documents the identification of the language which are its contents.

To ensure these levels of compliance with accessibility criteria have been tested with automated tools such as TAW: Test de Accesibilidad Web or Hera Hera developed by the Sidar Foundation. After these tests are conducted a manual review by an expert team to check the accessibility of the page in various aspects not qualified automatically, without navigation styles, without images or without javascript, etc.

Compatibility

The design has been made to be compatible with as many browsers as possible and on different platforms. Improve of the accessibility of the portal content should be a continuous process.
